The climbing life

This past month has been busy, every weekend I have been out rock climbing, its been terrific. Not as exciting or adventurous as the big mountains but very rewarding.  All the time on the rock has had been thinking on climbing - more than just a sport - but rather as a lifestyle. 

I drive hours every weekend, I eschew the normal comforts - no comfortable hotel bed, sometimes not even a tent sleeping out of the back of car for convenience. Its a strangely satisfying way to live.

Danland, Owens River Gorge, Tollhouse, Alabama Hills - We have visited each of these places over the past month, in some cases more than once!
